Love Island star reveals real reason for deleting all photos of his co-star
Love Island star Reuben Collins revealed the real reason he deleted all his Instagram photos with his ex Grace Jackson and reveals they still speak often.Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the reality star revealed why he removed Grace from his Instagram despite ending on “mutual” terms: “There is a lot of confusion with the people who were following us and thinking we are still together. So even today, I put the statement up on my social media saying we’ve split and people are still messaging me saying “ Wait are you guys still together? What’s going on?” I just think considering the situation it’s the best thing to do.He went on to praise his ex: “I don’t have a bad word to say about the woman. We’ve been talking since, we still talk and stuff. We’re still friends. She is shining right now, she is killing it. Everything I have said before I stand by it. 100%”Later in the interview, Reuben responded to questions on whether he believe Grace Jackson and Omar Nyame would get together: “From what I’ve seen I see they are just good friends and I don’t think they are any more than that. I just think that things are getting blowing out of proportion. I wish Grace nothing but the best. Whatever makes her happy. You do your thing and I’ll do mine. I like Omar he’s a cool guy like everyone on that show I liked.”He also revealed which couples he believed would make it long term: “Definitely Ciaran [Davies] and Nicole [ Samuel] they are literally made for each other. They’re like magnets for each other. I’m also the biggest cheerleader for Mimii [Ngulube] and Josh [Oyinsan]. Love Island contestant Konnor Ewudzi reveals his reason for splitting up Grace and Joey, calling it a “holiday romance.”Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the reality star opened up about entering the villa and recoupling with Grace Jackson: “I went in there and I thought, listen, it’s only been two weeks. No one was fully in a couple, you know, two weeks of knowing somebody. So, I thought I just wanted to go pick who I wanted to pick. That was basically my reason.”He was then asked if Grace and Joey Essex would still be together if he hadn’t split the couple up: “ Personally, no, I don’t think so. I don’t think so. I mean, how I saw it, like, I’ve said it before. They kind of had a bit of a holiday romance in the past. I thought it’s going to be the same again this time round and well I think I was right in the end. Yeah, well how I saw it was if it didn’t work last time is it going to work this time.”The 28-year-old bombshell from Cornwall revealed what TV show he would like to go on next: “So my mates were always taking the piss out of me because I was always in the kitchen, but Joey[Essex] makes me laugh because I’m in there doing just pizzas in the evening, cutting them up and Joey’s gone, “Konnor, you’re such a good chef. You need to go a master chef.” I was like, Joey, I’m cutting a frozen pizza up. It doesn’t take a lot of skill, no. But if I was asked to do it, I’ll do it. Love Island star slams co-stars for being “strategic” and predicts this series’ winners
Love Island contestant Blade Siddiqi calls out other islanders for being “strategic” to win the show.Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the reality star opened up about the islanders who he believes are being tactical in the villa: “It’s not Joey’s [Essex] first rodeo is it? So, I feel he does know how to cause a stir and how to ignite a few different conversations that might rub people a certain way. On that same note, Sean [Stone] has become very outspoken since Casa Amor and he had said near the beginning of the series “I’m not being myself; I want to speak out more, but I haven’t really done that”. So, you could almost say that Sean’s saying a few strategic things here and there.”He continued: “Joey is of course a very strong character so strategically for Sean it probably seems like it’s in his favour to become close with Joey and stick by his side. Joey and Sean have definitely ruffled a few feathers maybe strategically.”The Casa Amor star also revealed a heartfelt moment he shared with Joey Essex: “Funnily enough, I had seen him on TOWIE back in the day. You kind of don’t know what to expect, like who is the person behind the camera? We did get along well, and I shared a heartfelt story about my younger brother who used to style his hair like him years back. I told him I’m going to tell you a story but I’m going to tell you when the time is right, and I waited till I was leaving the villa to actually tell him that. It was quite a heartfelt story because he said, “I’m glad you told me that and maybe we’ll link up on the outside and reconnect”. I think things ended in terms of my journey with myself and him quite well.”Later in the interview, the 29-year-old revealed he would like to see win this series of Love Island: “I mean Joey’s already got a big following. Ciaran [Davies] and Nicole [Samuel], everyone can see they’re madly in love with each other. That being said, a lot of people are probably expecting Ciaran and Nicole to win at this point so they may even vote for let’s say the couple who are next in line to perhaps win like Sean and Matilda [Draper]. It was such a fun thing to do but it’s not my story.”The 27-old-year old singer reflected on her time in the Love Island villa: “I always knew going into the show that I was to face the Love Island stigma when it comes to music. I kind took that on the chin. I knew that was going to be the case and I definitely have felt that. I feel like we both had a feeling that it didn’t seem the same anymore. I remember that the first time we had a chat was at her house. But when we first had that chat, we said “let’s try” because we’ve just been voted to win this show and then we’re sort of breaking up straight away. Not that we owe anyone anything but for me personally I felt like I did owe the fans. Because they had voted to make us win and so to break up straight away, I felt it was out of order really. It was more me saying “come on let’s try and make this work” but further down the road it just wasn’t working. Neither of us wanted to force it. We’d rather keep it healthy and just end it rather than trying to force it and end up in tears.”He continued: “I wouldn’t have done anything differently. We did both try to make it work when we were outside but life in the villa as opposed to life when you get out is so different and I think neither of us were expecting it to be that different. We just didn’t really adjust to each other. I made the odd mistake along the way but that’s how we learn.”Later in the interview, the 23-year-old revealed he would like to go on Love Island: All Stars and chose the girls he would like to be in the villa with him: “Gemma Owen, that’s obvious. And Molly Smith. I’d love a nice Love Island girl playing with my curly hair. Love Island was the best experience of my life so to say no would be stupid. No physical touch, no intimacy. Then Grace [Jackson] walks in and smacks one right on the lips right in front of her. She obviously feels embarrassed. I spoke to her and she’s doing well, she’ll come out of this bigger and better for sure.”He continued: “She just feels like she wasn’t able to do what she wanted to and some of it was a little bit engineered. She feels like she was a little bit restricted in what she could have done in certain situations. I’m not saying its scripted but sometimes its difficult to go have a conversation with someone, there’s timing and all these different things. She just feels like it didn’t go her way.”Later in the interview, Munveer responded to being asked about the rumours that Grace and Joey’s relationship in the villa was planned: “I think you hit the nail on the head there, no smoke without fire. The way they’ve come in it seems like they’ve known each other for a while. There’s a past there, how strong is that past? Who knows. She’s come in, and they’ve coupled up straight away. I feel really sorry for Samantha because she is a class girl. She put it herself and said she was a placeholder.
